HilaYuval Audition Portal ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our application.

Data We Collect

When you submit an audition through our platform, we collect:

• Your Name: Used for audition records and identification
• Your Email Address: Used for contact and notifications
• Your Video File: The audition video you upload
• Audition Details: Role applied for, project, and any submitted information
• Profile Pictures: Optional photos submitted with your audition

How We Use Your Data

We use the information you provide to:

• Upload your audition video to YouTube (as unlisted, only visible to authorized users)
• Organize your submission by project and role
• Allow casting directors and agents to review your audition
• Contact you regarding your submission (if needed)

YouTube Integration

Our application uses YouTube API to store and manage audition videos:

• Video Privacy: All videos are uploaded as "unlisted" — they are not public and not searchable
• Access Control: Only authorized casting directors and staff can access videos
• No Data Sharing: We do NOT access your YouTube account, watch history, or personal data
• Limited Scope: We only upload videos and manage playlists; we do not download, delete, or modify your content

Data Storage & Security

• Database: Audition records and metadata are stored securely in PostgreSQL
• Video Storage: Videos are stored on YouTube and Bunny CDN (encrypted in transit)
• Access: Only authorized staff can access audition records
• Passwords: User passwords are hashed using bcryptjs (never stored in plain text)

Data Retention

• Default: We retain audition records indefinitely (unless you request deletion)
• Deletion: If you request your audition be removed, we delete records from our database. YouTube videos persist (you can contact YouTube directly to remove if needed)
• Refresh Tokens: We store a Google refresh token to manage uploads; this token is never shared or used for any other purpose

Third-Party Services

Our application integrates with:

• YouTube API: To upload and manage audition videos (see YouTube's privacy policy: https://www.youtube.com/static?template=privacy_guidelines)
• Bunny CDN: To store and serve profile pictures and videos (see Bunny privacy: https://bunny.net/privacy)
• Heroku: Hosting platform (see Heroku privacy: https://www.salesforce.com/company/privacy/)

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your audition data
• Deletion: Request that your audition be removed from our system
• Correction: Request corrections to your information

Children's Privacy

Our application is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.
