What this application does

HilaYuval Audition Portal is a private web application operated by Hila Yuval Casting (hilayuval.com). Actors who have been invited to audition for a casting project use it to upload their self-tape audition video and headshot through a web form. The casting team then reviews those submissions, grouped by project and by role.

How videos are stored

Audition videos are uploaded to Hila Yuval Casting's own YouTube channel and filed under the playlist for that casting project. Every video is set to unlisted — it is never published, never appears on the channel, and can only be opened by someone the casting team sends the link to.

The application asks YouTube for permission to do exactly two things: upload the submitted video, and put it in the right project playlist. It cannot read, change or delete anything else on the channel, and it has no access to any other account.

Who uses it

• Actors and their agents — submit an audition video through an invitation link. No account required.
• The casting team — signs in to review, sort and tag submissions per project and role.

Data handling

The application stores the submitting actor's name, email address, the role and project they submitted for, and a reference to the uploaded video. This information is used only to manage the casting process. It is not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising. Full details are in the privacy policy linked below.
